OP, here is your NW progression based on your BH posts: July 2019 -> $1.5m April 2020 -> $4m April 2021 -> $5m Both stocks and crypto have really boomed in the last 11 months but your portfolio gained only 25% and that assumes zero new contributions. I must say you aren't doing well investing wise.

What I really don't understand is why some coins all of a sudden gain >4-5X from nowhere for no reason. For example, Filecoin (FIL) has gained 5X within days. OTOH, the Google of Blockchain (The Graph, GRT) has been loosing value ever since I threw in some decent money.

Current Roth balance -> way over $105K, the number you referred in the OP.

A few very risky speculations paid off. Having said that, the way NIO and crypto mining stocks have been behaving lately that balance may evaporate soon.....or may be to the MOON.

May be we should call it something like this: Potentially decreased or no stimulus payment for a very small minority of tax payers who fall within or just above the phaseout income limits but won't be financially ruined if they don't receive the payments.

Also, most people who come into disproportionate increases in wealth really don't enjoy it anyway.
