Re: Treadmill

Landice L7 - 17 years - used daily by 2-3 folks. A couple of warranty issues over the years. Great customer service and the company stood by the all parts lifetime warranty including providing new treadbelt when the old one wore out.

Re: Good Ceiling Fan Brands

We have two Hunter fans that have been spinning away 24/7 for 30+ years. No problems, not even small ones.

We've had no problems over 10 years with Lemond G-Force RT Recumbent Exerciser. They also make (or made - not sure now) an upright. Get's daily use along with Landice L7 treadmill.

Re: Cardio alternatives to treadmills?

Another vote for elliptical and recumbent bike. We have both in our home gym in our summer home. Octane makes nice home ellipticals that don't need a lot of headroom. I've also used their derivative machines (lateral ellipticals, etc.) at our club and I'm not a fan. Have not used their recumbent el...

Re: Water Heater Off for 3 Months - Restart Procedure Help

Before using hot water from water heater that has had its temperature turned down for a while suggest raising the temperature for an hour or so to kill any bacteria that might grow in the warm (not hot) water. Was told this from A.O. Smith customer service. Found them to be very helpful. Also recall...

Re: Airline refusing to issue refunds

SAS cancelled round trip flight and offered a refund. Originally told to expect refund in 30 days. When I inquired at 30 days I was told it will now be 90 days. Should I wait or file a complaint with the credit card (which I've never done before)?

Re: Signature FCU IRA Savings Rate 1.75%

https://www.depositaccounts.com/banks/signature-federal-credit-union.html Their financials seem good. But, the review are mixed to so-so. One states a 900 days EWP. That is the steepest I've seen. Do a little research on them at the above listing. Thanks for the link. The 1.75% is for an IRA saving...

Signature FCU IRA Savings Rate 1.75%

Signature FCU appears to have a very good IRA savings rate of 1.75%. They are a new name to me. Has anyone had experience with them?

Re: Peloton Treadmill: Anyone here own one..,,

UALflyer, The Sole F80 is a good quality treadmill, we looked at it during our treadmill research. And you are correct, the Landice L7 does have a smaller belt, and it is recommended for individuals under 6ft 3ā€; I am nowhere close to that šŸ˜€. For anyone over that height, Landice has the L8 with the...

Vanguard Traditional IRA Brokerage Acct - mechanics

I will be transferring funds from my Vanguard Traditional IRA Brokerage Acct to a bank IRA CD. Is there any reason to leave some small amount of money in the Vanguard acct or should I transfer all. The money may be transferred back to Vanguard in a few years (before RMD age).

Re: My treadmill broke. Now what?

We use a Landice L7. Have used it regularly for 15 years or so. Comes with a lifetime warranty on parts. Expensive, but has held up to serious use. Glad we spent a little extra on it.

Re: TurboTax Best Price

The best price was on 12/28 and 12/29 (morning only I guess). Deluxe+State+$10 Amazon Gift card was around $39 Yes I ordered it from Amazon on 12/28/2019. Around $39 but I got a $10 Amazon gift card. It was odd that theTurboTax was only e-delivery but they had to ship out the $10 Amazon gift-card. ...

I-Bonds: Reasons for Choosing Beneficiary or Secondary Owner

Trying to understand why one would choose an I-Bond Beneficiary vs. a Secondary Owner and visa versa. Specific situation is husband and wife and adult unmarried child. Full trust in all by all. Thanks.
