The Coming of the Third Reich by Richard J. Evans. The first of his trilogy on Nazi Germany. It obviously lacks the first hand account of Shirer but offers more context due to information gained in the interim. I may be overreacting but it offers some disturbing similarities to present day America.

For a 24" x 24" glass backsplash (powder room), would you think pre-made grout would less desirable than powder grout. Cost is not a concern because I presume it will not be dramatically different. Thanks.

Home Depot's Life Proof Rigid Core Vinyl Flooring

Looking for new floor (over cement) for a cold basement. Life Proof seems to fit the bill but I am hesitant to purchase flooring from Home Depot. I am probably even more skeptical about Home Depot installers and I don't know of any installers myself. Anyone have any first hand experience?

Thanks for the constructive comments. The final plan is to take a taxi downtown for 2 nights, rent a car the 3rd day and stay outside town for 2 nights. Hopefully, this will allow for city time and beach, plantation, etc. time.

I recommend Pipestem Resort in WV. Been there twice with wife and 2 sons. Lots to do, reasonably priced and no farther than NC.

Try Ireland. Great fishing and golf plus great scenery. We have been there 4 times. People are freindly but economy is is sad shape. West is the best but you shouldn't miss Dublin.

After a business trip to Houston next spring, wife and I are thinking about driving to gulf for a few days. Any suggestions on location to visit and accomodations. Looking for something on water and 4 star hotel.

Nice Hotel in Quebec City

My wife and I stayed at the Le Saint Pierre Auberge in Quebec city. Located in the lower part of the city near good restaurants and galleries. Walkable to many areas of interest. Breakfast is very good and excellent lounge service.
