I play Wordle almost every day. I almost always, but not always, get it within six. I'm frustrated because the New York Times doesn't seem to be 100% accurate on user recognition, and (foolishly) I sometimes play it on my tablet and sometimes on my computer, and every once in a while the device will forget that I DID win it yesterday and break my streak... I always begin with the same two words, which together include A, E, I, O, U, Y and four very frequent letters. By the third guess, it is already quite difficult to find candidates that are consistent with the results of the first two. It ain't Wordle, it isn't nearly as good, but I've started playing the Washington Post's Keyword game and I do enjoy it. By the way, the master key to Key...

A shout-out for Bedford MA, one of the smaller suburbs north of Boston. One advantage I see is the school district - there is only one school at each level so kids know each other from K through 12 (assuming they stay in Bedford). Other bigger towns have multiple elementary schools that feed into 1 or 2 middle schools and then 1 high school.

Will a PhD in manufacturing engineering make financial sense? Do BHers think the degree will open professional opportunities for him?
