It may vary by state, but all they asked me was annual mileage, not type of miles. And 6000 miles per year got me no discount.

Hello Mobile now uses T-Mobile towers, and has a 5 dollar monthly plan with 500 meg and 500 minutes. About as cheap as it gets for real phone service and data without prepaying for a year. Of course at that price you can't expect much support. I used them for awhile with no issues.

If it's that slow, I'd suspect a rogue program is sucking up all your CPU. Try Ctrl-Alt-Delete then click Task Manager. You may be able to find the culprit.

Visible is probably the best Verizon MVNO for a heavy user. Actually it's not a true MVNO as Verizon owns it. Otherwise there are several options, like Page Plus, Tracfone and Red Pocket.

It may well work out okay, but it sounds like the underlying issue is burnout or ennui with a 180K relatively low stress job. Calling in retired seems like a pretty drastic solution.

If the full amount hasn't already been deducted, your employer may allow you to make a mid-year change, taking no further deductions. This is a rule change due to COVID. Also your employer may allow you to rollover $500 to 2021.
