Re: weekender bag?

My Travelpro small duffel bag ( the size of a medium gym bag/weekender bag) just broke (the zipper is destroyed.) Does anybody know of good quality weekender bags for a reasonable price? If you like the bag other than the destroyed zipper, it is a relatively cheap fix for a seamstress to sew in a n...

Re: Avocado oil --recommendations?

I have been using the Costco avocado oil for about half a year now. I like the fact that its neutral tasting. It also has a really high smoking point (520 degrees F vs. 320 for extra virgin olive oil) as pointed out before. It is also usually healthier than olive oil because of the makeup of fats in...

Re: Talk to me about Le Creuset

Re: How much car can I buy?

Car and Driver recently had an article about Mazdas CX-9. My mother just purchased one and they are a blast to drive, a great mix of comfort for the family and sportiness. They are also moderately priced (base price of around 30k new). With your family size, the cx5 ( Mazdas slightly smaller crossov...

I was going to write the same thing, Ally, Marcus, Barclays, CapitalOne, etc. all have really high competitive cd rates.

Yes I am exiting college debt free, no cc debts or anything either. I consider myself very lucky for what my parents had set up for me, and I would like to hopefully do the same for my kids.

newcomer 21yr/o college student

Hey all, I just recently found out about Bogleheads when I decided to purchase the BH guide to investing. It was recommended to me based on my risk-taking/aversion. I am a 21 yr/o college student going for a BS. in marketing/management with a minor in finance. I am interested in investing and I like...
