Newer breaker boxes contain Arc Fault breakers, which often have more nuisance trips because of their sensitivity. That may be your issue. It could be that too. My house has arc fault breakers on the bedroom circuits. If I plug the vacuum into a bedroom receptacle and turn it on it pops the breaker.
