Wow, that sounds awesome. I once drove the CRV and the interior for some reason appears much roomier than it's exterior. Great car choice.invst65 wrote: ↑Thu Mar 01, 2018 2:52 pm Just bought a CR-V yesterday. Having not bought a new car in 12 years I was amazed at all the high-tech stuff. Rear view camera and blind-side detection when changing lanes are the most appreciated so far. I haven't tried it on the freeway with cruise control yet but with "lane assist" and "Low-Speed Follow" it's getting close to self-driving car territory.
Don't know if Toyota has these features or not.

Re: Honda vs. Toyota: Which has more bang for the buck?
IMO both are great vehicles but for some reason, Honda (especially in sedan type ) has more of a sporty suspension meaning it can handle curvy roads much better. At least it feels that way. As they call Honda a: "poor's man BMW". In any case, I would try to compare apples to apples (Civic:Corolla, Accord: Camry, CRV: Rav4 etc.) before bying either one.

Re: Costco 'Goodyear' wiper blades
I use the same wiper blades and get them whenever they are on sale. They seem pretty not a super heavy duty for winter driving but not too bad. Can't beat the price for sure.

I usually keep around $25K between high yield savings and checking accounts. Currently, I'm thinking of moving some funds to Vanguard MM account.

Re: AOBC, horrible decision
I'm in a similar situation. Bought some UVXY ETF and missed the opportunity couple of times to sell this product to break even or take a small loss. At one point I was considering of buying more of it (dollar cost averaging) to lower my costs but I have done this in the past and I regret it later. Like someone else has said before: "throwing good money after bad it's a bad idea..." So I wouldn't go that route. Instead, maybe you can wait a while and sell it in the next spike. Of course, it's your money and you'll make a final call. On the other hand cutting losses short could be quite difficult at times but would make sense in the long run. Either way, I would set up a strategy and stick to it.
Good Luck!
