Re: Loan Depot Refinance- $10,000 gone poof!!!
If I read this correctly, you made a number of $10k payments over a couple weeks. In cases like this I make the amounts slightly different to allow them to be tracked. Ie make the first payment $9,900, the next $9,901, them $9,902, and so on. Makes it easy to track the individual payments.

Re: [Third stimulus payment - mega-thread]
Long story. In 2020 I made just over the 160k limit to not get the latest stimulus. In 2019 I was under the total and received prorated amount for both stimulus. I filed 2020 taxes in early Feb as MFJ before realizing the impact of AGI over 160k. I already received the 2020 refund. Our 2020 income i...

Someone with married filing jointly AGI under 160k in 2019 but over 160k in 2020 may also want to hold off on filing their 2020 return until after the stimulus payments are issued, I would think. If they file 2020, they will get zilch, but would still get a check if the IRS is using their AGI from ...

Are you sure there really is a leak? You can shut off everything in the house and go out to the meter on the street and see if the numbers keep going up.
