Under the SECURE act, I think the deferral of the 10-year rule only applies to a dependent of the original owner. You did not indicate the relationship between your son and the original owner.

Makefile is correct. If you taxes are $7500 or more, definitely line 16 but might be as high as line 18 in 2020 F1040, you will be getting the $7500 either paying the years taxes you haven't paid yet or getting a refund.
