You mentioned plenty of overtime in the new job. How many hours per week do you work now? Will there be more in the new job?

Personally, I would not do a temp to hire type position while you are in a regular full-time position currently.

If you are going to continue to work, I would opt to stretch them out as long as possible so that they are still paying when you are done working and will likely be in a lower tax bracket.

Bought a car 1.5 years ago for 7.5K, all on the CC. They did, however, require a hard pull prior to allowing me to do it.

It was well worth the 2% cash back for the pull.
