Glad to see this got fixed finally. This is a warning that when you do a refi and your loan may be in transition between two servicers to leave it alone and just make regular payments until everything is setup properly.

I would not use a debit card for purchases overseas (or domestic for that matter). Just use credit cards (and there are plenty of no international fee credit cards). Just use the no fee debit cards for cash out of ATMs (Schwab, Fidelity, etc).

I would have her sit in each and see which she likes best. Which she can see out of, get in and out of, etc. Our preference was the Forester which has excellent visibility but we moved up to an Ascent which we love.

The only other company that might be close is GM. Many of their cars can do over thr air updates and Cadillac is the most extensive OTA update capability for GM including almost all main modules including updated to their driver assist features. But I doubt it will go as far as you are expecting.

You only pay taxes on the gains, not how much you sell. Are you sure your tax bill will be that high? Do you have different lots with less gains you could sell?
