Real wood also can be changed by sunlight over time. Mom had a coffee table that faded/blonded over 25 years. One of the areas I built my retirement nut on was to keep my housing costs low - below the median price. Lower utilities, property taxes and less space to store things. More $ for 401k. And savings.

For myself, I own and I only refer to all of John Bogle's books. I do not need any other investment related books. I will not be looking for investment advice, I am interested in crowds and how the become infected with ideas that seem crazy to me. I expect the interview to be very interesting.

I have spent around 48k the last two years. Part of this is healthcare ins which is 18k this year. Medicare starts next March, so my life is more expensive now than next year.

My megacorp didn’t allow anything after the federally mandated max contribution . Nada. Nomega backdoor roth.
