Oddly we have the opposite scenario; had less income (far under the limit) and the IRS payment website stills says we're not processed/ineligible. We did file our 2020 taxes and got a refund. We did get the 1st and 2nd.

My husband has been the lower earner so we plan on him taking his SS at 62. I will defer mine to 70. i feel like this averages out the risks without me having to do a bunch of math.

I like the idea in general but am not religious and disagree with a lot of the tenets most HSMs have. I googled and it doesn't seem there are many options other than religious, maybe we should start a secular Bogleheads HSA (health sharing association).
